It was nice to have close communication with Laura and ensuring us we are well equipped with information. Our stay at the cottage was a good experience. It was our first time having the view of winery right outside of the cottage. The wine tasting session was good too. Laura is welcoming and friendly. We got to try various types of wine. Highly recommend to join this session.

Came for a quick wine tasting without booking. The lady who taken care of us were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Not only her gave us detailed overview of their own wine, she also provided recommendations on other wineries to visit based on our preferences. Their Chardonnay was amazing. Don’t miss it when you are in swan valley!

The wine appreciation course was run on a Saturday morning for an hour or so. The cost was $95 which was a bit on the pricey side for what was presented - not unlike a detailed wine tasting session. Suggest more information could be provided about the background of the presenter, the wines and the winery itself to help with context. At times felt a little rushed. The information and learnings were good however and I feel I have a better understanding of wine in general.

We had a group tasting with cheese platters. The ladies were lovely and friendly and the wines were good. We all bought some wines. It’s a lovely venue also, especially with the added decking/patio out the back. We will definitely come back.

Such beautiful grounds and staff. I can now understand why the octopus gets all the hype - it was so so delicious. Loved the scallops too. Couldn’t fault any of these dishes. Definitely will be back to try the cheese board and wines when I’m not pregnant! Bonus points for seeing Indi the dog roam around 🥰

Upper Reach winery restaurant has been our go-to for special occasions with family and friends. Great chef and staff. And of course the wines. Verdelho and gig Grenache are our favourites. Attended event during Entwined in the Valley this year -2023, starting with a vineyard tour and finishing off with dinner. The owners really care about your experience so are the staff and the winemaker—so much passion and dedication.

If you ever want to capture the beauty of the Swan Valley, I urge you to visit the Tree House Pizza Bar within Upper Reach Vineyard. The decking area stands high on the hill and the view of grape vines and the river is awesome. The bonus is you can also try one of their speciality beers if you don't feel like wine. Felt it really is a special place and show cased one of the many jewels the Swan Valley offers. Try the Wubin beer!! I'll definitely be back.
